Police nab most dangerous Malamulele escapee

The Limpopo police re-arrested the last and most dangerous Malamulele escapee in his hide out in a secluded area between Letsitele and Nkowankowa village yesterday.

LIMPOPO – The Limpopo police re-arrested the last and most dangerous Malamulele escapee in his hide out in a secluded area between Letsitele  and Nkowankowa village yesterday.

According to provincial police spokersperson, Col Ronel Otto, Madala Daniel Mhlongo was the last of the five suspects who escaped from the Malamulele magistrate’s court last month.

“He was awaiting trial  for a series of crimes committed in Ritavi and Letsitele areas, which included murder, hijacking and armed robbery (mostly at businesses),” said Otto.

Mhlongo will appear in the Malamuele magistrate’s court on Wednesday on a charge of escaping from lawful custody.
