LIMPOPO – WITH the decision to dissolve the Mutale Municipality in Vhembe, villages that fall under this municipality will be divided in two, with the part nearest to Musina falling under this municipality and the other half falling under Thulamela Municipality.

This was according to Municipal Demarcation Board (MDB) chairperson, Jane Thupana, who said the decision was made after the board gathered the views of the affected people during a public hearing that was held at the Thohoyandou Indoor Sports Centre recently.

“We will publish the findings of the board in the government gazette very soon regarding the new demarcation, and people will be given a time amounting to 30 days to raise their views and opinion if they have any.

“From there, the final decision will be announced,” Thupana said.
