POLOKWANE -Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) will carrying out maintenance/repairs on the Olifantspoort plant pipeline to Polokwane tomorrow, 2 July 2015.

According to municipal spokesperson, Tidimalo Chuene, the repairs will be carried out from  07:00 -13:00. In this time LWN will repair a serious leakage (breakdown) on the Specon pipeline which has to be done tomorrow due to water wastage.

Areas might experience water shortage due to tomorrow’s shutdown of Olifantspoort plant. These areas include Nirvana, Penina Park, Ivy Park, Ster Park, Seshego, Flora Park and Moletjie.

“Polokwane Municipality has however put 23 water tankers on standby to deal with any shortage,” says Chuene.
