Foreigner stabbed to death

LIMPOPO – A MOZAMBICAN national was stabbed to death on his was home at Lufule – 02 in Mphego village on Tuesday.

Maj Mashudu Malelo of the Thohoyandou police said Isaac Simango (35), who stayed at Mavambe section where most Mozambican imigrants lived, was walking with a woman at around 22:00 when he was attacked.

“The suspects attacked Simango with pangas and the woman fled. Simango’s lifeless body was found with multiple stab wounds. The attackers made off with his two cell phones,” said Malelo.

He said a case of murder was opened at the Thohoyandou police station, but no arrests had been made yet.
