LIMPOPO – The three suspects arrested for house robbery last week appeared in the Thohoyandou magistrate’s court on Monday.
The suspects were arrested on Friday morning by Limpopo police two days after they attacked a 30-year-old woman near the town of Thohoyandou.
According previous information the woman was overpowered at her home in Mphogo Orchard, next to Nandoni Dam. She was assaulted with a panga and sustained injuries to her left hand.
“The men fled the scene with two air rifles, a laptop, cell phones and bank cards. All stolen items were recovered in the arrest said provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto.
The three suspects Ndinannyi Maduka (24), Rudzani Makhaya (29) and Thuthani Munyani (23) were remanded in custody until 6 July for the bail hearing.
