LIMPOPO – A local pharmacist in Tzaneen has confirmed that the influenza H1N1 virus commonly known as swine flu has hit the town.
According to Letaba Herald five people have been to their local doctors, been diagnosed with the virus and and given prescriptions.
The pharmacist says that the outbreak of the virus is because most people do not get flu vaccinations in the beginning of the winter month and she listed the symptoms experienced when infected (symptoms listed here)
She further said that anyone with symptoms which are similar to those of other flu strains, must immediately consult their doctor.
