Limpopo police arrest Tanzanian man in possession of drugs

MOKOPANE – A 30 year-old resident of Tanzania was arrested last Saturday afternoon by the Mokopane police for dealing in drugs.

According to Const Irene Masingi, spokesperson for the Mokopane police, “police officers spotted a bus and demanded the bus to stop at the Nylplaza toll gate. The officers searched the passengers and one man was found with drugs that he was hiding in his shoes”.

The suspect appeared before the Mokopane magistrate’s court and the case was postponed to June 29 pending further investigation. No bail was granted.
