LIMPOPO – Three suspects have been arrested on Friday morning by Limpopo police two days after attack on 30-year-old woman near the town of Thohoyandou.
On Wednesday, 24 June, the female victim was overpowered and assaulted by the suspects at her home in Mphogo Orchard, next to Nandoni Dam.
According to provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto, a panga was used in the assault and the woman sustained injuries to her left hand.
The suspects fled the scene with two air rifles, a laptop, cell phones and bank cards. All stolen items were recovered in the arrest.
The suspects ages range from 22 to 25 years, says Otto.
They will appear before the court on Monday on charges of house robbery.
