LIMPOPO – Two Nigerian nationals were arrested in a special joint operation in Tzaneen on Friday afternoon.
The special joint operation was composed of Crime Intelligence, Cluster Crime Prevention, K9 and Home Affairs-Immigation.
According to police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto, in the arrest of the 40 and 28-year-old Nigerian nationals items to the value of R250 000 was recovered;
3 laptops, 11 cell phones, Kat, cocaine rocks, dagga, 1 machine for weighing drugs, 1 machine for weighing gold and diamond jewellery, cash including coins, cosmetics, cigarettes and airtime.
More arrests are still expected says Otto.
The suspects will appear before the Tzaneen magistrates court on 23 June when their bail application will be heard.
