It takes a real man

Alphius Malatji of Mmotong, Ga-Mabotja says fathers should strive to instil good manners in their children.

POLOKWANE – Alphius Malatji of Mmotong, Ga-Mabotja says fathers should strive to instil good manners in their children.

Malatji is a taxi driver who believes that fathers should be good examples to their children.

He says Father’s Day is an important day and should be used to bond with your children.

Malatji is the father of three children, two boys and a girl.

“I have been teaching my children good manners since they were very young and I am proud of them. They obey the rules and have respect for older people. I always encourage my children to study so that they can be future leaders,” he says.

He believes anyone can have a child, but it takes a real man to be a father.

He says men should look after their children and do whatever it takes to make them happy and to provide for them.

“Men also play a vital role in the family and I think they also need to be recognised and be celebrated. Fathers should lead by example so that their children can walk in their footsteps,” he says.

According to Malatji, a real man is that someone who loves his family and provides for them without thinking twice.
