Starry, starry night – learners enjoy AstroQuiz

MOKOPANE – THE gr. 7 learners of Sunrise Primary School are making their mark at the Science AstroQuiz competitions. The AstroQuiz Competitions is sponsored by the South Africa’s National Research Foundation (NRF).

“They achieved a prestigious second place in the first round last month and achieved remarkable results last Friday during the second round at the University of Limpopo,” said Kubiku Kubs, science educator at Sunrise Primary School.

The team is made up of eight passionate learners that are determined and confident that they will proceed to the third round being held at the University of Venda later this year. “I am very proud of their achievements so far,” said Kubs.
