Rotary Anns help the needy
The Pietersburg 100 Rotary Anns in partnership with the Face of Limpopo finalists donated clothes, shoes, books and toys to different institutions and charity organisations in and around Polokwane last week.
POLOKWANE – The Pietersburg 100 Rotary Anns in partnership with the Face of Limpopo finalists donated clothes, shoes, books and toys to different institutions and charity organisations in and around Polokwane last week.
Good Hope Primary School and the Polokwane Child and Family Care Society are some of the organisations that received a donation. The Face of Limpopo finalists had a project during which they had to collect clothes and donate them to the organisation of their choice. The finalists donated 30 boxes of clothing to the Pietersburg 100 Rotary Anns.
The Pietersburg 100 Rotary Anns decided to donate the clothes, with shoes, books and toys they collected themselves, to underprivileged families and organisations that help and support underprivileged people.
Good Hope Primary School principal, Cindy Buys and social worker at Polokwane Child and Family Care Society, Christa van der Linde, thanked the finalists and Pietersburg 100 Rotary Anns for their donation and applauded them for giving back to the community.
