LIMPOPO – An African rock python was discovered inside one of the Maponya 911 Emergency Services vehicle’s engine in Phalaborwa.
The snake, which is estimated to be four metres, was spotted by a woman walking her dogs on Thursday morning reported EWN.

Emergency services were called to the scene.
According to a Maponya 911 emergency worker Jaco Gericke, the python tried to bite him when he got close.
The snake handler Zian van den Bergh said that the snake cannot be forced out and that they will have to wait for it to come out on it’ s own.
“It’s stuck inside the ambulance. I saw that it has a minor skin injury. We’ll wait for it to come out.
We’ll quarantine it and check for injuries. We’ll then relocate it,” said Van den Bergh
