20 injured in collision on R36 Limpopo

LIMPOPO – A collision on Saturday night on the R36 near Tzaneen left 20 people injured, eight of which are children.

The collision involved a bakkie and a light motor vehicle. The bakkie allegedly drove into the back of the other car causing both vehicle to swerve in opposite directions.

According to ER24, the injuries sustained, ranged from minor to moderate.  ER24 paramedics treated and transported two patients to Van Velden Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

The cause of the collision remains unknown.
