Open day brings 600 students
Learners were presented with the ideal opportunity to explore the vast range of study options that the TVET college provides and what exactly certain fields entail.
MOKOPANE – More than 600 gr. 11 & 12 learners attended the Waterberg Technical Vocational Educational and Training, (TVET), college open day last Thursday at the business studies centre in Mahwelereng. Learners were presented with the ideal opportunity to explore the vast range of study options that the TVET college provides and what exactly certain fields entail.
“We believe that the opportunity to speak directly to the learners about the different academic programmes and what they involve is of absolute importance to them when it comes to making the appropriate study choices,” stated Tumelo Morobe, marketing officer of the TVET college, in a media statement.
The day was filled with a variety of activities including the sharing of information on financial assistance, personal interaction with current students and lectures and a tour through campus.
“The TVET College really cares about the future leaders of this country and together ensuring success.”
