At Little Blessings Pre-School the air was filled with song, praise and worship recently when the staff and learners celebrated Ascension Day.
The purpose of the celebrations were to remind learners of this important milestone on the Christian calendar marking the 40th day of Easter and commemorates Jesus Christ’s ascension into heaven.
The learners made hearts to show their love for Jesus and one of the school’s walls was decorated with drawings by the children with the word Jesus featuring prominently. Headmaster Annetta Coetzee said it was a sign of love and that God was in their lives. “People must know what Life is about and the important role God plays in our lives. I am proud of how the children participated in this day,” she said.
