POLOKWANE – According to Eskom, load shedding stage 1 will be implemented today (Tuesday) from 16:00-17:00. Stage 2 load shedding from 17:00-22:00.
Areas to be load shed are:
16:00-18:00
B10 AREAS: Seshego Zone 8, Zone 4, Zone 1, Zone 5, Madibapark and Hospital View.
18:00-20:00
B11 AREAS: Seshego Zone 6, Bikopark, Zone 3 and 4 and College.
20:00-22:00
B12 AREAS: Voortekkerpark between Voortrekker and Webster Streets and between Suid and Rissik Streets, Ivypark Ext. 34 and Meropa Casino.
Eskom assures all customers that load shedding is done as a last resort, when absolutely necessary to protect the power system. Any unexpected change on the constrained and vulnerable power system will lead to a change in the stage of load shedding.
