Learners show off their talents

"All the participants amazed us with their confidence and talent. These are very talented children and I am proud of them," Sue Altenroxel

POLOKWANE – Most children learn early on in life that they are better at doing some things than others, and are usually eager to show off their talents.

On Thursday, April 29, the junior phase learners from Mitchell House had the opportunity not only to show their talents off to their friends, but also to their teachers and parents.

From the word go, the audience was glued to the stage as the gr. 1 to gr. 3 learners performed.

The first item was group singing, with three groups participating, namely the Planet Girls (WATCH VIDEO), the Bellas and the Popsters.

The second item was group dancing, during which the participating learners danced to music including Show me by Chris Brown, Everyday I’m shuffling by LMFAO and Roar by Katy Perry.

During the individual dance item, there were five participants; three took part in the individual singing competition.

The final item was dedicated to any other talent such as magic tricks, comedy, acrobatics and poem recitation.

“All the participants amazed us with their confidence and talent. These are very talented children and I am proud of them,” Sue Altenroxel, head of the junior phase, said.
