Suzuki introduces the all-new 4-door Ciaz

The new Ciaz allows Suzuki to compete for the first time in the compact sedan segment and so extend Suzuki’s potential to reach customers seeking a larger sedan than the Swift DZire without compromising fuel economy, safety, quality and affordability.
The Ciaz is offered in a choice of two specification levels, namely the GL and GLX models and is also available with a four-speed automatic gearbox.
But even the more affordable GL model benefits from extensive comfort and convenience features.
These include:

• Digital multifunction trip computer.
• Electric windows.
• Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors.
• Remote central locking.
• Multifunction steering wheel.
• Automatic climate control air-conditioning (with rear vents).
• Six speaker audio system with CD player and integrated Bluetooth.
The Ciaz’s engine power comes from the latest, updated version of the proven K14B four cylinder engine. It contains 16 valves and multipoint fuel injection with variable valve timing.
The maximum power output is 70kW at 6 000rpm and the torque peak is 130Nm at 4 000rpm. The engine delivers its output to the front wheels.
The new Ciaz does not fall short in term of safety features such as:
• ABS anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution (EBD).
• Emergency braking assistance (EBA).
• Dual front airbags.
• Inertia reel seatbelts front and rear.
• Integrated alarm, immobiliser.
• Childproof rear door locks.
The wheels are 15-inch steel rims with full wheel covers for the GL model and 16-inch alloy wheels for the GLX versions.
The main interior colours are black and dark grey, with the upper section of the dashboard finished in black while the lower section features a dark grey theme with silver accents.
Smart cloth upholstery is standard on the Ciaz GL and the Ciaz GLX comes with genuine leather.
Instrumentation includes digital clock, trip meter, odometer, ambient temperature gauge, instant and average fuel consumption indicator and remaining driving range.
The cabin has ample cupholders and other storage.
Each front and rear door features a bottle holder, and an overhead console in the GLX models conveniently stores sunglasses. Whilst on the storage theme, the new Ciaz has one of the biggest boots in its class with 495 litres of luggage space. A full-size spare wheel is standard.

These prices include a three year or 100 000km warranty and a three year or 60 000km service plan. Service intervals are every 15 000km.
