POLOKWANE – Lepelle Northern Water is currently repairing a leak between the Olifantspoort plant and Specon. The repairs started at 06:00 this morning and are expected to take at least four hours.
This could lead to some areas experiencing low pressure or no supply of water.
The leak was repaired within five hours and Lepelle Northern Water has resumed pumping water to Polokwane.
No reports were received of areas which experienced water shortage as the reservoirs were not negatively affected by the repairs. Anyone who is experiencing water shortage can report such at 015 290 2376.
