Nell fraud case postponed again

The case of fraud brought against former Polokwane businessman Jacques Nell was yet again postponed, and has now been scheduled for the end of October.

POLOKWANE – The case of fraud brought against former Polokwane businessman Jacques Nell was yet again postponed, and has now been scheduled for the end of October.

The case, which was to have started in the Mankweng magistrate’s court last Thursday was postponed by mutual agreement of the parties.

The magistrate presiding in the case is Rochelle van der Walt. Nell was arrested by the Hawks in February 2014 on two charges relating to the defrauding of a bank.

The charge sheet shows the actual loss incurred by the bank as R1,7 million.
