POLOKWANE – Sandra Bates and her son Sean were attacked by two armed men in their home on a farm in the Tweefontein area early Thursday morning.
The SAPS Polokwane detectives are investigating cases of house robbery and murder after a 30-year-old man was shot and killed at one of the Tweefontein.
Police received a call at about 03:30 a.m from one of the plots in Tweefontein. At the scene it was alleged that a 19 year old man and his mother were asleep at their homestead when suddenly the man heard someone at the door of his room.
A scuffle ensued between the two armed men and the victim, the victim was stabbed in the head and arm.
Paramedics were summoned to the scene and they certified the man in the garden dead upon their arrival whereas the wounded victim was taken to hospital . Investigations are continuing.
