UPDATE: William van Rooyen has been found the 2nd time

William van Rooyen who went missing for the second time just hours after he was found has been found again and is now being treated by medical professionals. His family and friends send a message of thanks to all who assisted in the search.

WILLIAM VAN ROOYEN, WHO WENT MISSING FOR A SECOND TIME JUST HOURS AFTER HAVING BEEN FOUND THE FIRST TIME, HAS BEEN FOUND, THANKFULLY.

A message of thanks from his Mom and Family and friends. This time, thorough treatment will be guaranteed. Trauma Counselor and Medics on way to him right now where he is currently being secured to ensure his physical presence.
I ask that you please keep his Mother, totally distraught after a very disturbing experience, in your thoughts.

POLOKWANE – Sources have confirmed that William van Rooyen has left the Polokwane area again. He has informed a family member of his whereabouts. After almost two days of searching, Van Rooyen was found in Westenburg by Edwel CPF search party at about 17:00 yesterday (Friday 3 April 2015) after the  search had resumed at 15:00 yesterday at the Shoprite parking.

The morning of 3 April 2015 he had yet to have made contact with any family or friends. Edwel CPF search party had resumed the search for William at about 07:30 this morning(Friday). After searching until 19:00 the previous day.

Van Rooyen had been reported missing 22:00 on Wednesday April 1 when he handed in his keys at his residence at Thornhill Estate and walked away.

He was last seen on foot, wearing a green hoodie.

Family and friends of Van Rooyen are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact them.

Hi almal. Ons gaan voort met die soektog. Geen positiewe verwikkelinge deur die nag. Ons wil 7 uur almal bymekaar kom in Thornhill shopping centre se parkeer area voor Virgin active. Ons sal dan 7:15 wil begin met die soektog. Kan ek vra dat almal wat gaan help my net laat weet sodat ons weet hoeveel mense sal kan help. As jy n “quad” het bring hom saam anders trek asb n langbroek aan met stap skoene om te voet te help. Groot asb moet nie kinders saam bring nie. Weereens baie dankie vir julle hulp.
