Extreme hot and dry weather conditions are prone to veld fires; Limpopo is no exception,” he added.

The MEC for The Department of Co-operative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs, Makoma Makhurupetje, as the political head of the Provincial Disaster Management Centre, has called upon all the people visiting Limpopo to be vigilant and take extra caution when disposing of any fire or smoking material, especially cigarette stumps.
