Great rewards for their most loyal customers

THE Coca-Cola Fortune Company in Polokwane celebrated Partnering for Profit 2015 in the city last Tuesday to acknowledge customers for their support and to shower them with prizes.

POLOKWANE – THE Coca-Cola Fortune Company in Polokwane celebrated Partnering for Profit 2015 in the city last Tuesday to acknowledge customers for their support and to shower them with prizes.

According to Joe Ramokoto, Coca Cola’s national trade channel manager, this was their way of rewarding loyal retailers for promoting their products.

“We started the 1,25 litre for R9 promotions last year where our sales representatives identified retailers who qualified.

“We had over 3 286 partici-pants around the province but only the lucky 150 were selected to be a part of the draw.

Ramokoto said the promotion would motivate and attract new customers.

“There are 150 customers present but only 61 will walk away with prizes. One person will drive away with a Chevrolet bakkie, 10 customers will win Samsung S5 cell phones, another 10 will win Samsung computer tablets while 40 people will walk away with 15 cases of soft drinks each.”

“The company is grateful to retailers such as spaza shop owners because they draw customers to our products in all areas which is why the brand remains popular and a favourite amongst people.”

First prize winner, Johannes Manthatha from Botlokwa, said he had been a fan of Coca-Cola for years.

“I have been selling Coca-Cola products in my shop for 23 years. I drink it every morning at breakfast and I love it. I feel happy to be a winner among so many people.” he said.

Manthatha said besides the car, he also received 15 crates of soft drinks. He said he would continue to support the brand and motivate others to be a part of it because the company offered great prizes.

“This is the best present I have received by far. I will definitely be a part of the next promotion so that I can win more prizes.”

Lindi van der Merwe, trade marketing manager, said she was happy to see people excited.

“Next year’s celebration will be bigger than this one and hopefully we will attract more people.”

She said their next promotion would start in April.
