POLOKWANE – As part of the nationwide shutdown of Telkom Members of CWU in Limpopo embarked on a protest today (Friday) outside their buildings of the Telkom offices in Polokwane next to the SABC Park.

The shutdown was in opposition to restructuring and retrenchments that the company is trying to implement unilaterally. The leadership of CWU in the province led by provincial secretary Mack Mamorobela addressed workers that the retrenchment is mainly hitting African workers who are majority in the Company.
