UPDATE: Water supply restored

Water supply to the Seshego area has been restored, after being without water for three days. Matshidiso Mothapo, a municipal spokesperson said all areas in the city have water.

POLOKWANE – Water supply to the Seshego area has been restored, after being without water for three days. Matshidiso Mothapo, a municipal spokesperson said all areas in the city have water.

“If there are any areas who are without water, they must please report it to the municipality at (015) 290 2376/2001/2002,” Mothapo asked.

 


 

POLOKWANE – Water supply to high lying areas in the city has been restored, after being without water for two days.

The affected areas included Flora Park,  Serela View, Ster Park, some parts of Seshego and the Extensions.

Matshidiso Mothapo, a municipal spokesperson confirmed that parts of Seshego is still without water after the Seshego reservoir dropped to 1% this morning.

“The municipality and Lepelle Norther Water is working tirelessly to ensure all residents have water. It is expected that water supply to Seshego will be restored by tonight. We urge residents to use water sparingly as the levels of all the reservoirs  that supply water to the city remain critical,” Mothapo said.
