POLOKWANE – Westenburg Secondary School is very proud of Lawrence Adams, president of the school’s learner representative council (LRC), who was elected as president of the Pietersburg circuit LRC.
All high schools that resorted under the Pietersburg circuit were invited to send their LRC presidents, secretaries and treasurers to attend the elections at Capricorn High School last Wednesday.
Each school had to prepare a presentation of five minutes with the theme: “high discipline and high morals, leading to high excellence in schools”.
After each representative completed his or her presentation, nominations for the Pietersburg circuit LRC, which included a president, deputy president, secretary, deputy secretary, and treasurer, were made.
“This is a great honour for me and I feel proud to know that people have so much faith in my leadership. I promise to be the voice of the students of the Pietersburg circuit and to unify schools,” Adams said.
