POLOKWANE – The year is fast coming to an end and it was an eventful year with many ups and downs.

Review takes to the streets and asks residents what they would want to say to 2015 if it was a person.

Chantal Ronquest says she will tell 2015 that nothing good comes from stress, “so be kind to me”.

“If 2015 was a person, I would encourage it to be the best year ever,” she says.

Lucille La Grange says she wants to ask 2015 to give her a break, because 2014 has been a cruel and heartless year.

“This year was a year full of sadness and turmoil. I just want 2015 to bring some happiness into my life,” she says.

Danielle La Grange says her father died earlier this year.

“I am sad, but I believe he is with Jesus in heaven. If I could, I would tell 2015 to have mercy on me and to keep the people that I love close to me. I don’t want to lose anyone in 2015,” she says.

Jaco Potgieter says he wants to tell 2015 to bring excitement into his life. He says 2015 should be nice to him and fill his life with positive experiences.

“I want to ask 2015 to be a good year for me, because 2014 did not treat me very kindly. In fact, 2014 was a horrible year and I hope 2015 will be better.”
