6 People lost their lives in N1 accident

Six people tragically lost their lives following an accident on the N1 south near Ysterberg this yesterday afternoon.

Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found the crumpled remains of two vehicles following head-on collision between a Nissan and Peugot.

Upon assessment of all the occupants they found that six people tragically lost their lives as a result of the collision.

Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.

Traffic is affected as a result of the accident and will remain affected for a while until the scene has been cleared and the vehicles have been removed.
