Joy over gift of Bibles
About 40 Tshivenda Bibles were donated to four Vhembe district churches by Reris Insurance Brokers
Members of various churches in the Vhembe district have benefitted from a recent Bible donation.
About 40 Tshivenda Bibles were donated to four churches by Reris Insurance Brokers.
The joyous handover ceremony took place at Reris Insurance Brokers’ offices in Thohoyandou on Thursday.
Apostle Jonathan Mathele-musa, whose church was one of the churches that received Bibles, said his congregation was blessed to receive the Bibles.
“We heard in an advertisement on the radio that Reris Insurance Brokers wanted to donate Bibles.
“We submitted our church’s name and the number of members who needed Bibles,” said Mathelemusa.
He said he was happy when his church was chosen to receive some of the Bibles.
Spokesperson for Reris Insurance Brokers, Fhatuwani Rantsana, said they wanted to help people get in touch with their Christianity.
“We want to help spread the word of God with this donation,” said Rantsana.
He said the initiative was started by the managing director of Reris Insurance Brokers, David Mureri, who had a vision to give Bibles to churches and communities every month.
