Pink purple and red colour their days

SOME gr. 1 learners from Good Hope Primary School share what their favourite colours and toys are.

José Whitehead (7) says his favourite colour is yellow, because it is a bright and beautiful colour. "I love playing with cars, and one day when I when I grow up I want to drive a BMW."

Tovey Nyman (7) says: “My favourite colour is pink and I like playing with all my dolls because I am a girl.”
Caitlin Southon (6) says her favourite colour is purple because it is a nice colour. “My favourite toy is Barbie, because I can dress her and play with her hair.”
Ashline Willemse (6) says her favourite colour is purple because it is a beautiful colour. “I love playing with dolls, because I am a girl and girls play with dolls.”
Thandiwe Shingwenyana (7) says her favourite colour is pink, because it is a nice colour. “I like playing with my dolls, because I can comb their hair.”
Kabelo Sehlodimela (7) says his favourite colour is blue because that is the colour of the sky and water. “My favourite animal is a tortoise and I love playing with cars.”
Jydene Heyman (7) says: “My favourite colour is wine red, because it is a beautiful dark red colour. My favourite toy is a ball, a black and white ball, because I love playing soccer.”
Khumo Mabala (7) says his favourite colour is red because he is a boy. “Cars are my favourite toys in the whole world. One day I want to drive a Mercedes-Benz because it is fast car.”
L’Amour Mamani (7) says: “My favourite colour is purple. I like playing with my Barbie doll because I am a girl and I can comb my doll’s hair and dress it up.”
Richard White (7) says his favourite colour is red, because it is a bright colour and it symbolises danger. “My favourite toy is Ben 10, and I also have a Ben 10 watch.”
