PEPPS gr. 7’s learn how to do business

Pepps Polokwane Preparatory School's gr. 7 group recently had the opportunity to be businesspeople

Pepps Polokwane Preparatory School’s gr. 7 group recently had the opportunity to be businesspeople for a while.

They had to set up a business plan, illustrate the production process, show an income and expenditure sheet and sell their product to the rest of the school without the help of their parents.

This resulted in an entrepreneurs’ day at the school that took place on Friday, September 19.

Activities such as wheelbarrow racing, arm wrestling and table tennis were all part of the day’s fun and games.

For those who were hungry there was enough food and sweets to choose from, including pizza, chips, cupcakes and doughnuts.

A group of gr. 7’s also ran a competition where participants had to complete a Rubik’s cube puzzle.

“We learned a lot for this project. I am glad we had the opportunity to do it,” said Tawanda Gopo, one of the gr. 7 learners.

Luka Chandler, Seshaba Budeli, Yuriy Matsevych and John Barrett hosted competitions to rebuild the rubic cube.
