Residents of Lebowakgomo are urged to use water sparingly, more so due to tomorrow’s emergency shutdown of the Olifantspoort plant.
Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) has informed us that ESKOM is going to shut down power from 06h00 to 18h00 at Lebowakgomo area as whole tomorrow for emergency purpose. As a result the Plant Olifantspoort Plant and all other pump stations in Lebowakgomo will be out of operations. This will affect water supply to Polokwane and Lepelle Nkumpi, however a lot of water will be pushed to Polokwane this afternoon and tonight by the Lepele Northern Water to minimise the risk of water shortage tomorrow
