WARD 13 of the ANCYL Milo Malatji ANC Branch in Seshego and #Team Radilaola Youth Foundation got their hands dirty on Friday for their 67 Minutes for Mandela, cleaning up at Grace and Hope Special School in Seshego.

WARD 13 of the ANCYL Milo Malatji ANC Branch in Seshego and #Team Radilaola Youth Foundation got their hands dirty on Friday for their 67 Minutes for Mandela, cleaning up at Grace and Hope Special School in Seshego.

They were also joined by members of the ANCWL.

Nigel Baloyi, ANCYL Milo Malatji chairperson, said they wanted to do their bit to honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela.

“It is our privilege to give time to clean the school and help out where we can. This is one of the many ways to improve numerous struggles in the community. We also donated mops, buckets, and floor polish to the school.

“We chose Grace and Hope Special School because it is the only special school in our branch catchment area and it needs our help.

“The aim was to get 50 people to help us clean the school and we had more volunteers than that,” said Baloyi.

Sannie Chauke, president of #Team Radilaola said they took part in the clean up to show that the spirit of Nelson Mandela will live on in the hearts of South Africans.

“We wanted to commemorate the legacy of Nelson Mandela by giving back to the community. This is not the only campaign that will be hosted by our branch, there are still more activities to be held in the future.”
