POLOKWANE – White people are witches.

This was sports minister and long-standing Julius Malema supporter, Fikile Mbalula’s statement while he was addressing residents of Mmotong Makgofe during an ANC Tlou Tefo branch pre-election campaign last Wednesday.

The pre-election campaign was attended by approximately 200 ANC members and supporters.

Mbalula said even though white people were witches, they would not be able to do anything because “our traditional healers are stronger than them”.

He went on to say that the ANC was in Limpopo to deal harshly with those young people who undermined and disrespected elderly people, adding that the ANC was not a party for boys and girls.

“The ANC is not a fashion organisation like Valentine’s Day,” he said. “Even Julius knows that when he was born, the ANC was already there.

“People vote for the ANC because of their love for the organisation. You cannot dump an organisation because you are angry,” he further said.

He said Malema hurled insults at president Jacob Zuma because he believed Zuma had expelled him from the party. “Malema and his lieutenants are not going to frighten the ANC. We know Limpopo is the home of the ANC. Cope tried and still cannot beat the ANC.”

Tlou Tefo branch executive member, Lesetja Ngoetjana said EFF stood for Expelled Frustrated Fools. “We cannot be led by corrupt people. We cannot be led by expelled frustrated fools,” he said.

ANC national executive committee member and health and social development MEC, Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba said the purpose of the pre-election rally was to give voters “marching orders” before the elections tomorrow (Wednesday).

“It does not matter whether you are an ANC supporter. We do want to miss any vote, even those of cats or a dogs,” she said.
