LEARNERS of Makgofe High School in Makgofe who performed well in various subjects since the beginning of the year, were awarded with certificates for their hard work last Friday.

The gr. 12 overall top performing learner, Patricia Pitsi, said the certificates she received motivated her to work harder during the senior certificate examinations.

“I aim to obtain five distinctions in the examinations, two of which will be in my favourite subjects, mathematics and Sepedi,” she said.

Mmakgabo Ngulube, a gr. 10 teacher and examiner, was delighted to award learners who performed well in Sepedi.

“I’m very satisfied with the performance of these learners. They have shown passion for their mother tongue.”
