Jaco Schoeman was crossing the railway line when he felt a bump from behind.
Victor Makgoka the driver of the car who rear ended Schoeman said he did not see the vehicle in front of him slow down and ended up driving right into the back of Schoeman’s vehicle.
“I honestly did not see the light grey car in front of me and by the time it became visible, it was way too late to prevent the accident,” explained Makgoka.
No one was injured in the accident.
Setting veld alight is a punishable crime
Polokwane police spokesperson, WO Lesiba Ramoshaba, has warned that those caught setting veld alight will be arrested for arson.
“This is a serious crime. Setting a fire is not just playing a game and we urge the public to stop making fires in the open.”
