Juniors bring gift of learning for Madiba
Since Mandela Day took place during the school holiday, Mitchell House decided to do their share of good on the first Friday after the school reopened for the third term.
POLOKWANE – Since Mandela Day took place during the school holiday, Mitchell House decided to do their share of good on the first Friday after the school reopened for the third term.
Learners from the junior phase brought stationery to school as well as attractively covered shoe boxes, in which the stationery would be placed.
The boxes will be sent to schools in rural areas where the children are in need of stationery.
“We give these good things for other children for Mandela Day,” Kgethego Matloga, a gr. 0 learner said.
The learners also sang a song and danced to celebrate this special day.
