LIMPOPO – Good news for local game farmers and other roleplayers in the industry: The SAA’s embargo on the transportation hunting cargo has been reversed.
According to the report SAA Cargo decided to revise the embargo, after the DEA gave them assurance that additional measures will be put into place ensuring compliance with all required permits and documentation.
SAA stated that all such trophies would need to undergo physical inspection, and documentation would be checked by relevant nature conservation authorities as they deem fit.
(The embargo in question took efect in April this year and included trophies such as rhino, elephant, lion and tiger.)
