MECS thrills at kunstefees
A substantial number of learners from Mokopane English Combined School, (MECS) took part in the Bosveld Kunstefees hosted at Hoërskool Piet Potgieter, where they thrilled everyone with their excellent performances.
MOKOPANE – A substantial number of learners from Mokopane English Combined School, (MECS) took part in the Bosveld Kunstefees hosted at Hoërskool Piet Potgieter, where they thrilled everyone with their excellent performances.
Gr. 4 to gr. 10 learners took part in the festival and for many of them, Afrikaans is their third language.
“It is through exposure like this that the love of a language is cultured,” said Emilige Schröder, vice principal.
MECS thanks the organisers and especially Hoërskool Piet Potgieter for the opportunity that was granted to the learners, “it is greatly appreciated”.
