Fun filled athletics

SIX Christian Education School competed in an athletics meeting hosted by Carpé Diem Christian School and Mokopane Destiny Academy (MDA) last Saturday at the Hoërskool Piet Potgieter sports fields.

MOKOPANE – SIX Christian Education School competed in an athletics meeting hosted by Carpé Diem Christian School and Mokopane Destiny Academy (MDA) last Saturday at the Hoërskool Piet Potgieter sports fields.
The participants ranged from u/7’s up to u/19 and the day was filled with tough competition, a lot of fun and tasty refreshments.
Results:
Divine Kingdom from Venda was crowned as the winners, Mokopane Destiny Academy came  second with Nazarene from Tzaneen taking third place. Other positions were Carpé Diem from Mokopane (4), Haddasha from Polokwane (5)  and Taba Y Botse from Mookghopong (6).
The Mokopane Destiny Academy and Carpé Diem Christian School thanked Hoërskool Piet Potgieter for the use of their facilities.
A special word of thanks also went to outgoing principal Jas Hansen, for going out of his way to accommodate the athletics meeting.
They thanked Riaan Hamilton, from Kingdom Milling, Theuns Joubert, from Salom Mining Industries, Makoro Bricks, Wynand Swanepoel, Janine Swanepoel, Tanja Wolmarans and Khonotjo Ngobeni.
“We are truly grateful towards each of them as well as all the staff and parents form the two host schools who helped to make the day a great success. A good tradition for the future was started,” said Lily Swart, supervisor at Mokopane Destiny Academy.
