Miss Limpopo little finalist with big heart

Bohlale Mhlongo (8) shows compassion by donating pre-loved items to Masakaneng Soup Kitchen, supporting 350 daily beneficiaries.

POLOKWANE – Miss Limpopo Province 2025 finalist Bohlale Mhlongo (8) from Polokwane, demonstrated her dedication to charity by donating pre-loved clothing, shoes and toys to the Masakaneng Soup Kitchen in Polokwane.

The soup kitchen provides daily meals to 350 people.

In addition to her donation, she participated in the kitchen’s activities, helping to peel vegetables, prepare meals and spending time with the children at the facility on Saturday.

“I believe that when you donate clothes, you’re participating in a communal act of kindness. It not only helps those in need but also strengthens the fabric of our society,” said Mhlongo, with guidance from her coaches.

Her involvement extended beyond the donation drive she organised with the support of her family, friends and church community, as she continues to show empathy, compassion and community spirit.

“My plans are to continue supporting the centre through future projects with the pageants, with the values of empathy and social responsibility,” she said.
