Police investigations revealed the two suspects, a police sergeant and civilian, were hired by another taxi owner from Seshego who was also murdered in 2023.

POLOKWANE – A police sergeant and a civilian made a brief appearance in the Seshego Magistrate’s Court yesterday in connection with the murder of a taxi owner in 2020.

The taxi owner, Tlou Phihlela (41), was shot multiple times near the Seshego Hospital on October 18, 2020 and his murder sparked an extensive investigation by the provincial Murder and Robbery Unit.
