Magesi FC remain optimistic despite challenging start

Magesi FC calls for patience from supporters and vows to bounce back from consecutive PSL losses, citing inexperience as temporary setback.

POLOKWANE – Despite back-to-back losses in the 2024/25 Premier Soccer League (PSL), Magezi FC are determined to turn their season around in their upcoming matches.

The league newcomers faced a challenging start, losing to provincial rivals Sekhukhune United and Polokwane City FC on Wednesday and Saturday, respectively.

Club spokesperson Abel Rakoma remains optimistic, highlighting that the team still has 28 matches ahead.

“We are still new in the league. For some of our players, these were their first PSL games, and they gave their best. With time, they will adjust and deliver the results we are aiming for,” Rakoma said.

He confirmed that no additional players will be signed, apart from two new recruits awaiting their permits.

“We believe in the current squad and are confident they will turn things around,” he added.

He also called on supporters to remain patient, promising better results in the next match.

“We understand our supporters want immediate success, and that’s what we are striving for,” said Rakoma.
