Polokwane’s champion of the downtrodden

Thomo Nkgadima, a respected philanthropist, uplifts communities and restores dignity to those in need, driven by his parents' values and compassion.

POLOKWANE – Thomo Nkgadima, a well-respected philanthropist, draws inspiration from the values instilled in him by his late parents.

His work in uplifting communities and restoring the dignity of beneficiaries reflects the essence of his Sepedi name, as he strives to put himself in the shoes of the less fortunate.

“I decided to stop the ‘blame game’ and step in to bring relief to our downtrodden masses,” Nkgadima shared.

His acts of kindness have earned him widespread respect, with his philanthropy including donations of wheelchairs, food hampers, and other essential items.

Many consider him a true ‘champion for the poor.’

Nkgadima often serves as a bridge between donors and those in need, encouraging people with unused items, especially wheelchairs, to reach out.

“There are many families in need of assistance, and that’s where I come in. We identify what they need the most, arrange a visit, and meet up with them,” he explained.

Once the needs are identified, Nkgadima coordinates with donors to ensure the items are personally delivered to the intended recipients.

For those interested in donating or assisting, he can be contacted at 072 829 6913.
