Floyd Shivambu reportedly resigns from the EFF

Various news outlets report that Shivambu will step down from his leadership role in the party for reasons unknown.

POLOKWANE – The EFF’s deputy president Floyd Shivambu is reportedly set to announce his resignation from the party later today.

Various news outlets report that Shivambu will step down from his leadership role in the party for reasons unknown.

The EFF called for an urgent media briefing at midday.

Unconfirmed reports suggest Shivambu also requested to be released from all his duties in the party and parliament.
