Kids Kingdom Pre-School serves up fun

Kids Kingdom Pre-School's mini chefs create their own pizzas, serving up smiles and a love for cooking.

POLOKWANE – Last Friday, Kids Kingdom Pre-School hosted a special Make-Your-Own-Pizza day, offering learners a unique blend of fun and hands-on experience with food.

Dressed in aprons and chef hats, the young learners eagerly gathered in the green area, ready to create their own delicious pizzas.

They selected their favourite ingredients from a variety of options, including viennas, cheddar and mozzarella cheese, onions, mushrooms, beef and chicken strips, and a range of sauces to top their pizza bases.

Pre-school principal Bianca Kotze shared with Review that while cooking at school can sometimes get a bit messy, the right resources can turn it into a delightful experience for everyone involved.

“We love seeing the cute smiles and excitement on their faces every time they participate in such activities,” she said.

After the fun-filled session, each learner enjoyed the satisfaction of eating the pizza they had crafted themselves.

Nathalie Nkuna, the head of the pre-school, emphasised the importance of involving children in the planning stages of such activities.

“The more involved they are with the preparations and planning, the more motivated they will be to get their chef hats on,” she concluded.
