Noordelikes in top form against Musina

POLOKWANE – Noordelikes showed guts and grit to defeat Musina 51-14 in their Limpopo Amateur Rugby match played at Noordelikes on Saturday.
Sergio de Costa and Tumelo Modiba scored the winning tries in the first and the second half of the match.
Johan van Ravesteyn, the director of rugby and coach at the club said they had to bounce back from their recent defeat against Louis Trichardt.
“The guys are still finding each other. There is good synergy in the team and everyone enjoys the environment. The season is still long and we will keep on fighting for good results.”
Coach Adam Adams said the players understand what lies ahead in the league.
“We lost against Louis Trichard but we kept the faith. We believe we can win a lot of matches. We trust the players and they trust each other and that showed on the field of play. Also, the preparations ahead of the league helped, because we are on that winning level and we got the motion.”
Adams said preparations are at an advanced stage for their match against NkowaNkowa Rugby Club who they will host this Saturday.
“We need to do well in that game. We can’t afford to switch off. We have a good record against them and are aiming for maximum points.”
