POLOKWANE – Off-road motorcycle enthusiasts gathered at the Capricorn Racing Club on Saturday for a dust-filled fun day on their bikes.

From early on young and old bikers took turns to show their skills on the gravel track with hills and sharp turns to keep things exciting.

Roland Grobler takes the lead with Ernest Potgieter close on his tail.

Not the blazing sun or the dust could deter riders from their plans to have more than just fun.

Darrel Lehman speeds around the bend.

“The kids’ race was just the usual three heats, but with the seniors, we changed it a bit. One heat MX track, one heat flat track and one heat kiddies MX. The points were determined by all three races,” says Magda Keartland from Capricorn Racing Club.

Even though it was a fun day offered by the club, there were winners in the three categories.
